Starting in 2010, the cost for an annual family membership
at SCC Tennis is $400,and NO food minimums!
Junior program fees will be separate. For tennis members, the cost will be $150 per child. For non-tennis members, the cost for each child to participate in the Junior Program will be $250; for more than 2 children, it will be cheaper to join as tennis members.
We are looking forward to another great year at the courts!
Tennis News
The season begins about May 15th. It is weather dependent and based on when the courts can be prepared. (Please be careful if we have an inordinate amount of rain and the courts become soft.)
We are hoping to have several Tennis socials this year - a great way to meet new people and socialize with old friends. Please continue to read the newsletter and the calendar on this web site for more information.
The Club's main Dining Room will be open as of April 1st. Though not required to, tennis members are welcome and encouraged to use the Dining Room.
"Brush up on the Basics" - (The following dates, times and costs are tentative.) The clinic will run each Wednesday in July, beginning on July 7th, and finishing on July 28th. Each session will run from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The total price for the four nights (6 hours of lessons) is $60.
This clinic is for Low to High Intermediate Players who wish to get in some instruction, monitored hitting, and workouts on your strokes at the beginning of the season. Contact Russ Bombard (860-983-0665) if interested. Russ can also be reached at his e-mail address.
