Last year, Judy, Dan, and myself enjoyed another successful season of Junior lessons and matches. I have finally earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education from UConn and look forward to getting the new 2006 tennis season started for another fun and useful summer of tennis!

Many of our Junior Program players last year continued to show marked improvements in their games and I anticipate the same results will follow during this season. Dan Presser will be back this year working as one of our assistants, surely providing solid instruction from his talents. He has just finished his third year at Syracuse University. I also look forward to working with Judy Campbell as she will be back to help the juniors improve their games. We have the Program designed slightly different from last year (times and new groups can be seen on the website) and I look forward to seeing some familiar faces back on the courts as well as any newcomers!

I will also be offering the "Brush Up the Basics" Clinic again this summer. We had a great group last year! And as some of the members found, this clinic provided the necessary tuning of several fundamentals that can so quickly be lost in the months of no play! Sign-ups will be posted on the courts as soon as possible.

And as always, I will be offering private and small group lessons that can be arranged at a time convenient for both of us.

Again, I look forward to SCC Tennis getting back in full swing! I have worked throughout the winter at the new Enfield Racquet Club, so I am excited about bringing some new action to the courts! Finally, our team of Judy, Dan, and myself can't wait to make this summer on the courts fun for all of our Juniors as well as the Tennis members.
