Golf for A Day Program Guidelines
The Suffield Country Club Board of Governors, in conjunction with the SCC Golf Committee, is excited to announce the following 2008 Special Golf Program:
"Golf Member for a Day"
Current, primary Golf member may purchase a "Golf Member for a Day" program for family or friends
Cost - $1,000 (payable $500 in April and $500 in June)
Limited to first 15 subscribing members
Purchasing member (the "Sponsor") receives 3 coupons per month for April through September, and 4 coupons for October and November (26 coupons total)
Each coupon is good for one of the following:
One 18 hole round of golf anytime Monday through Friday (subject to course availability[1]) with or without Sponsor
Two 9 hole rounds of golf for 2 people playing together Monday through Friday (subject to course availability) with or without Sponsor
One 18 hole round of golf anytime Saturday or Sunday (subject to course availability) when playing with Sponsor
One 18 hole round of golf after 11:00am on Saturday or Sunday (subject to course availability) without Sponsor
Benefits:
Coupon holder is allowed to play without Sponsor being present
Coupon holder is allowed to bring up to 3 paying guests
Subject to course availability, coupon holder can play weekdays and after 11:00am on Saturday and Sunday without Sponsor and anytime if accompanied by Sponsor
Sponsor can distribute coupons in their discretion (26 coupons to one person or to 26 different people)
Coupon holder and guests are allowed to utilize all golf facilities and are invited to stay for lunch or dinner in the Pub room following their round of golf (cost of food and beverages not included with coupon)
Limitations:
Coupon holder must contact Pro Shop to confirm course availability
Cost of carts is not included
Coupon holder cannot be redeemed to participate in any member events (such as one-day member guest, 3-day member guest, club championships or other scheduled member-only events)
Guests accompanying coupon holder must pay applicable greens fees, and coupon holder and any guests must pay applicable cart fees (if carts are used)
One coupon cannot be exchanged for two separate 9 hole rounds of golf played by the same person on different days
No guest (including coupon holder) is allowed to play the course more than 3 times a month (except for October and November, when coupon holder can play up to 4 times)
Sponsor is responsible to ensure that coupon holder and their guests follows all SCC rules, including dress code and responsible cart usage
[1] Course availability may be limited by scheduled outings or member events, or during restricted tee access for members' golf leagues
